Key Responsibilities
A. Presales Support & Quotation Management
1. Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations in coordination with Field Sales representatives, manufacturing team, and product engineering team.
2. Review customer requirements and ensure proposals are aligned with product capabilities and internal guidelines.
3. Maintain a database of standard proposal templates, pricing sheets, product specifications, and supporting documents.
4. Support sales teams during customer calls, RFP responses, and initial technical clarifications, including travel to customer sites as required
B. Internal Coordination & Documentation
1. Act as the central liaison between Field Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations teams for proposal approvals and technical inputs.
2. Track proposal status, assist Field Sales representatives in timely follow-ups with the customers, and maintain documentation for all customer interactions.
3. Support the preparation of customer decks, datasheets, and technical brochures.
4. Coordinate review cycles for contracts, NDAs, and commercial documents with internal stakeholders.
C. Sales MIS, Pipeline Tracking & Market Planning
1. Maintain and update the sales pipeline, dashboards, and MIS reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
2. Track key metrics including enquiries, proposals issued, opportunity stages, closures, and timelines.
3. Assist in basic market research, competitor profiling, and mapping of sector-wise opportunities.
4. Generate insights and summaries for senior management, including Head BD and the Chairman’s Office.
Qualifications
· Candidates who have Degree (Engineering or General Management).
· 2–4 years of experience in sales coordination, inside sales, commercial support—preferably in industrial products, energy, engineering, or clean tech sectors.
· Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/Sales tools.
· Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly with client facing and internal teams.
· Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple proposals simultaneously.
· Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
